a — Solar and Wind energy (On/Off Grid)

  • Design and management of photovoltaic and wind systems
  • Monitoring energy production, storage and distribution
  • Installing PV modules and microturbines; measuring generated power under variable conditions
  • Simulating grid feed-in, self-consumption and efficiency of inverters and storage systems

b — Hydrogen energy

  • Understanding electrolysis processes and fuel cells
  • Safe management of hydrogen systems
  • Producing hydrogen via electrolysis; measuring gas purity and volume
  • Analysing fuel-cell performance with V-I curves and integration into microgrids

c — Biofuels and Solar Thermal energy

  • Sustainable production and use of bioethanol and biodiesel
  • Study of thermal systems for water heating
  • Bioethanol distillation and biodiesel synthesis; combustion tests and organoleptic analysis
  • Simulating domestic hot-water production and integration with PV/wind

Complete technical support

Kyron supports schools at every stage of the project, from design to lab installation. We offer a highly qualified technical assistance service covering hardware/software configuration, system testing, documentation and training on the use of the instruments. Our goal is a smooth, safe start-up of lab activities, with ongoing support over time for any technical or educational need.

Tailored teacher training

We offer structured, personalised training paths designed to support teachers in the informed, advanced use of lab technologies. Training combines innovative teaching methods and international best practices, with a hands-on approach that lets teachers directly experiment with classroom-ready activities. Training modules may also include recognised certifications in scientific and energy fields.

Effective curricular integration

All our labs are designed to be consistent with ministerial guidelines and the exit profiles defined for technical, vocational and agricultural institutes. The equipment enables multidisciplinary learning units, PCTO paths, business-simulation activities and scientific in-depth work aligned with the skills required by the world of work and tertiary education. The approach is experiential, modular and adaptable to each track.

Accessibility and inclusion at the centre

We design labs that are inclusive, accessible and safe learning environments for everyone. Workstations, instruments and materials are also selected for usability by students with motor or sensory disabilities or special educational needs. With accessible software, flexible layouts, ergonomic furniture and intuitive interfaces, the labs become truly open spaces, where every student can learn in their own way, in line with the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
