Compliant products and full support for verification. Safety and sustainability are core principles in how Kyron Education selects products and solutions: every item meets high environmental and safety standards, in line with regulatory requirements.
This includes verifying certifications and compliance parameters, with particular regard to the Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM) and the Do No Significant Harm (DNSH) principle, ensuring solutions aligned with current regulations.
CAM set specific guidelines for furniture intended for educational environments, requiring highly resistant materials both physically and chemically. These must be FSC-certified, fire-retardant and guaranteed for at least ten years, ensuring reliability and long-term durability.
DNSH is not a certification but a principle introduced by the European Community to prevent certain products, considered potentially impactful, from causing significant harm to the environment. It currently applies only to specific categories of tools.
CAM and DNSH certifications are a guarantee of quality, safety and sustainability. Their verification protects students’ health and safety, ensuring furniture made of safe, resistant materials, and steers choices towards low environmental impact solutions.
